Back in the groove!

My love has officially been home from Mojave Viper for 1 week.  I finally feel like we are back in the groove of things.  I never realized how being away for only 6 wks would make such a difference when he got home.  I think the biggest adjustment was getting off  "MY" time and back on "OUR" time.  Don't get me wrong, I love having him home.  I just forgot how difficult it is to get back in the groove.

For 6 wks, I cooked dinner if and when I wanted to.  I can't even tell you how many times we had cereal or pancakes for dinner just because we could.  Now, my love would not mind pancakes once in a while for dinner, but not as much as we ate it.  We love some pancakes.  I did the laundry as needed by my kids and myself.  Who cares if the laundry sat in the hamper until whenever?  I know I did not.  And we all know that I did NOT clean my room while he was away.  I also came and went without ever having to think twice about what time dinner was gonna happen or when I needed to be home. 

So, now that things are back to normal, I find myself with little extra time.  Of course, my love would never care if I didn't do these things for him, but I do it because I love to make him happy.  To know that he is relaxed and able to come home to dinner, then enjoy an evening with the rugrats and I, is what my life is about.  Our time together before he is gone again is gonna fly by, so for now, "MY" time is "OUR" time again and I will enjoy every second of it.
